Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum
Join us on September 11 to remember the nearly 3000 people who died during terrorist attacks in New York, Washington DC, and Shanksville, PA, in the U.S. on that day in 2001.
Museum doors open at 9:00 am. The programming will begin at 9:40 am. To start the programming, we will have a Presentation of the Colors, followed by the National Anthem, performed acapella by Aubrey Watters, a seventh grader from Lifegate Christian School. A moment of silence will be observed at 9:46 am (8:46 am EDT), marking the time the first plane flew into the World Trade Center.
A big thank you to Omaha Steaks; because of their generous donation, we will serve lunch from 11:00 am-2:00 pm (while supplies last).
Join us as we mourn the events twenty-one years ago on September 11 with our Patriot Day program while paying homage to the precious lives lost.
