3 – Bellevue University Basketball. 3 p.m. - Women and 5 p.m. - Men against Dakota State Trojans at Gordon Lozier Athletic Center, 1024 Bruin Boulevard, Bellevue.  

4 - Sarpy County Museum Open House - 2-4 p.m. - Join us for an afternoon filled with Christmas Cheer! Enjoy trees decorated by local organizations, holiday décor, live music, and festive treats! 2402 Clay St., Bellevue.

10 - Country Christmas at the Farm - noon-6 p.m. - Bellevue Berry and Pumpkin Ranch - 'Tis the season to be jolly. Come celebrate the Season in a cozy country atmosphere warm up with hot cocoa, decorate cookies with Mrs. Claus then off to take a picture with Santa and write your Christmas list. Enjoy wonderland Kids Play Areas; Bonfire all the time; Enjoy the Holiday Trail of Lights on a Wagon Ride (if weather permits). Ornament decorating self-serve and for additional cost face painting and balloons are available. Also runs Friday, Dec. 9 - from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission price $10 includes hot chocolate, cookie and Christmas craft bag. 2 and under is free. Food available for sale.

17 - Yule Log workshop - 11 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. - Platte River State Park - 14421 346th St, Louisville. Enjoy making pine cone bird feeders, roasting marshmallows, a Yule Log Quest, kindling hunt, hayrack ride, bonfire and more activities. Meet for festivities at Walter Scott Lodge. Register a Yule Log Quest team by calling 402-234-2217. 

18 - Bill Sammon at Soaring Wings Vineyard and Brewing - 2-5 p.m. - 17111 S. 138th St., Springfield. Bill believes his primary musical strengths are as an interpreter and arranger. With this in mind, he has decided to perform a program of “Songs I Wish I’d Written.” This theme allows himunrestricted access to a variety of songs across multiple genres of popular music, dating from the 1960s to present day.

19 - Visit with Santa - 5:30-7 p.m. - Ollie & Hobbes Craft Kitchen - 310 E. Gold Coast Rd., Papillion. Share your wish list with Santa during his Midlands Place stop.

29 - Christmas Bird Count with Kids - 10 a.m.-noon - Schramm Park State Recreation Area - 21502 W. Highway 31, Gretna. Learn all about the annual Christmas Bird Count and practice your birding skills while either doing a feeder count or a birding hike with a naturalist. There will also be bird-related activities available in our classroom following the hike. While this is for kids, it is also for kids at heart, all beginner birders and anyone interested in this annual community science opportunity. This program meets in the classroom and does not require admission.
