Heat the Streets Run & Walk for Warmth is a timed 5K and untimed, family-friendly walk.
Proceeds from the event benefit local energy assistance programs to help seniors, people with disabilities and low-income families pay their utility bills. The event is held in the cold winter months to bring attention to those who struggle to keep the lights on and heat their homes.
Race day check-in will be from 7-8:30 a.m. The 5K will begin at 9 a.m. with the walk to immediately follow.
Awards will begin following the 5K and award winners must be present to win. Awards will be given to the overall top male and female 5K finishers, as well as 1st place for male and female in each age division (12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).
Event shirts are available for purchase at the time of registration. (Options are shown on the checkout page.) Youth sizing is available. The deadline to order a shirt is February 14. Shirts must be picked up at the event - no shirts will be mailed.
